I have worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker by trade and a weaver by heart. Weaving has been my creative outlet over the years.   While I initially learned weaving basics of designing a warp and dressing a loom,  the expertise came from continued independent practice as an artisan.  I am forever seeking color palettes to incorporate into my weaving. It’s always enticing to capture variations of color in the delicacy of fibers, textures and patterns. My preference is to work with natural and organic fibers and I always seek quality in the fibers I choose.   My weaving will continue to evolve with a next step to hand dye my fibers and bring further palettes to life in my designs.
